How do I get to the Interislander terminals in Wellington and Picton?
The Interislander Terminal, Wellington This terminal is located approximately 3km from the city centre on Aotea Quay, next to the motorway on State Highway One. (There is a shuttle bus from Platform nine, Wellington Railway Station, 50 minutes prior to each sailing – cost NZ$2 per person aged five and over). Passengers requiring connections to the airport should take the shuttle bus to the railway station, then follow signs to the bus terminal. There are regular buses from the bus terminal to the airport. The journey time to the airport takes approximately 30 minutes.
