How Do I Get to Know People at WoCC?
If you live in the community of south Asheville, chances are you may know someone at WoCC already; or at least have significant common ground with someone here. WoCC understands that meaningful relationships are becoming more and more rare in our culture, but we believe that truly authentic Christ-following can only be done along with other people. This sets up a challenge–to see the people comprising WoCC move into meaningful relationships when the cultural flow is opposing this. In response, we strive to facilitate connecting with people through two main opportunities: • Missionary Calling–the people of WoCC are focused on RESPONDING to Need as Christ Monday-Saturday; intentionally integrating ourselves into our host community and culture for the purpose of building relationships with people through service.
