How do I get started in obtaining a grant to start a small business?
You get started by learning the basic steps as provided in Course 1, Small Business Funding, particularly Section 3 (Research) and 4 (Writing) a grant to start a small business. You will also find that the Small Business Administration (SBA) (www.sba.gov) has local counseling centers in your state that can assist you, as well as other organizations such as SCORE (www.score.org), which is also referenced throughout Course #1, including the Resources Section.
