How do I get smilies?
If you go into your user control panel (under User CP at the top of the screen in the navigation bar) then click on “edit options” and scroll to the bottom, the last choice in “Miscellaneous Options ” is “Message Editor Interface.” If you set that to “Standard Editor- Extra formatting controls” or “Enhanced Interface” it will give you a whole host of posting functions that you didn’t have before. One of them is a clickbox full of smilies. It’s a useful change to make.
