How do I get site plans from CAMEO DOS 2.x into CAMEO for Windows 1.x?
It is not possible to directly import CAMEO DOS 2.x site plans into CAMEO for Windows 1.0. However, there is a work around to get existing CAMEO DOS site plans into CAMEO for Windows 1.x. 1. Start Windows. Start CAMEO DOS 2.x through Windows. 2. Go to the site plan you want to “copy” into CAMEO for Windows 1.0. 3. Press the “Print Screen” button, which will save the screen image to the clipboard. 4. Start Window’s Paintbrush or other graphics application (HiJaak etc). 5. From under “Edit” select “Paste”. 6. Save the image into a BMP format in your CAMEOWIN directory. 7. Start CAMEO for Windows 1.0 and highlight the facility for which you want to create a site plan. 8. Choose Show on Plan from the Site Plan menu item in the Sharing menu. 9. If the facility is not already linked to a site plan, you will be asked if you wish to start a new plan set for the facility. Click Yes. 10. Select the .BMP file you just created and click OK.
