For SimCity 3000 to run on linux, you need to patch it with the update on the ftp site : ftp://mirrors.dotsrc.org/lokigames/updates/sc3u/ Also, if you are using a Kernel version over 2.6 you need to execute the game with the script : #/bin/sh export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 /usr/local/games/SC3U/sc3u This script assumes that the game is installed in “/usr/local/games/SC3U/”.
