How do I get salvation (mukti)?
Salvation is related to our soul’s eternal destiny. Salvation can not be obtained through any good works. It comes only by grace given by our loving God. If we want to get grace, we must have faith on the anointed one of God, Jesus Christ. If we take a practical example, we will understand it more easily. In this world if we commit a crime or violent act, the judge of the court will sentence us to a penalty or punishment. Redemption from jail comes only after we have served the time or sentence. In the same way, the barrier to salvation for souls is sin. In God’s court, we do not have to pay any penalty or accept any punishment. That is because Jesus took our sin’s punishment and paid our penalty two thousand years ago.
