How do I get rid of white cloudy water in my pool?

What is the water chemistry exactly? If you don’t have a full spectrum test kit (most home owners don’t) then take a sample of the water down to your local pool store to have them test it. Make sure they check the following: Total chlorine Free chlorine Combined chlorine pH Alkalinity Hardness Cyanuric acid Total dissolved solids Metals Phosphates Any number of reasons can cause white cloudy water but I can bet it’s the boost to he pH you did. Using pH+ is risky business if you have hard water. This product is soda ash (sodium carbonate… not to be confused with sodium bicarbonate or baking soda). The problem with soda ash is that it doesn’t buffer the pH against changes. There is a much better product for maintaining pH levels and that’s borax. Drop me a line at robandliz1992@yahoo.com and we’ll get you back up and going on your pool as inexpensively and quickly as possible.
