Most warts will simply go away all by themselves if you can stand to wait long enough. They are caused by a virus, and as soon as your body supresses it, it will go away. Unfortunately this method takes the longest- about a year or so, to work. Otherwise, the wart removers sold at the pharmacy do work much better than the suggestion to pee on your wart. Aside from being esthetically unpleasant, it just doesn’t really work. Neither does duct tape or any of the other home remedies floating around out there. You don’t want to damage the healthy skin around it, just to kill the virus making the wart. The fastest method is a visit to the doctor to have it frozen off with liquid nitrogen. So, you have a choice. You can do it cheapest by simply waiting it out. Or you can buy a wart remover, the next cheapest alternative. Or you can go to the doctor and have it done quicker.
