How do I get rid of the rubber smell on the Xpad Slim?
Your Xpad Slim comes with soft rubber pads that provide the non-slip interface between the Xpad and your laptop. When the rubber pads are new they smell like rubber, however, the smell does go away in a few weeks – similar to new car smell effect. If you wish to accelerate the outgassing and get rid of the smell fast, you can do so by leaving your Xpad Slim outdoors with the rubber pads exposed to direct sun light for a day or two.
