How do I get rid of the “musty, stinky smell in my bathroom towels?
Hi, I’ve found a few drops of Eucalyptus oil with your usual fabric softener in each wash will freshen up towels and face washers. Dry them in the sun if possible. But if you live in an apartment, not have access to a clothes line and have to use a clothes dryer instead, then this is particularly good. No more musty smells. It is also good for pillow cases whenever you happen to get a cold. The Eucalyptus keeps your nose unblocked and you get a peaceful sleep. Also another tip: If you use a front end loader washing machine, about once a week, wipe the inside of the circular rubber seal, because sediment and slime can build up inside and could cause a smell on your clothes in future washes.
