How do I get rid of that annoying “I don know who this security certificate is because I don know about its certificate authority” Error when viewing Systems over SSL?

You have to install the cs.colorado.edu bogus Certificate Authority Certificate. This is a relatively painless operation under windows. Simply click and download the certificate above. Then open the certificate, (or click and choose to open from here in the download box.) The Internet Certificate box should pop up. At the bottom of this box is a “install certificate…” option. Click this. Use the defaults in the wizard (automatically select store, and click yes when you are prompted to install the certificate in your root certificate store.) You should now be able to view systems and any other website certificate that the cs department has signed without having to click through the “are you sure because we don’t know about these guys” dialogs. Actually, now-a-days, you need to install the Systems group CA certificate since Dirk got tired of waiting for two months to get new signed certificates from CSops.
