How do I get rid of moths that are eating my clothes?

You will need to wash all your clothes- ‘cos you will need to get rid of the eggs/larvae. If some of the clothes are too delicate for a hot wash you could try putting them in a sealed plastic bag into the freezer for a few days this will also kill them. Horse chestnuts (conkers) work quite well to stop re-infestation of moths – don’t know if they work on ‘woolly bears’ (that’s what my mum used to call the carpet beetle larvae). Whatever you do, do not put chemicals on childrens’ soft toys for obvious reasons.
