Vacuum the MoldVacuum loose mold from the window sills with a sweeper attachment. Discard the sweeper bag or empty the vacuum canister into an outside trash receptacle.Wash the WindowsillsFill a bucket with warm water and 2 tbsp. of unscented laundry detergent. Place rubber gloves on your hands, and put on a dust mask before cleaning the mold. Dip a sponge into the cleaning mixture, squeeze out excess water and wipe over the remaining mold on the windowsills. Continue applying the detergent and wiping away the mold until it is completely removed.Dry the WindowsillsWipe the windowsills with clean water and the sponge. Dry the windowsills completely with a towel or clean rag.
