How Do I Get Rid of Malware?
I was soooo mad when I got that, and I had the malware or whatever you call it already, did not help. I read a note someone put on the internet about root keys and files, but that was over my head, although I did see one of the file names had “iehelper” in it. Interent explorer helper, and I also remembered that all this started when I got my latest UPDATE from microsoft, well first my firewall was mysteriously off, I turned it back on, disconnected from the internet, I mean I pulled the cable from my computer, then I opened IE back up, went to tools and scrolled down to Manage add-ons, and looked at the list, I noticed an add on that had “bho ie helper ” in it, which I didnt recognize. so I clicked disable, and ok. Then I went to the desktop, and control panel, and then add and remove programs, and deleted the last update from microsoft. I hate to point the finger, cause I might be wrong, but I restarted and have had NO PROBLEMS. and I also got rid of ANY protection software, because
