How do I get rid of ants in my apartment?

0

One time my cat threw up on my bed while I was gone for a few hours and when I came back there was a huge mass of ants all over my bed and bedroom carrying the vomit off to their home. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. I did my best to clean up, spent like an hour cleaning the vomit then brushing the ants of my bed so I could wash my bedding without a bunch of ants all over it. Then I vacuumed all the ants I could. I still had a problem after that though because their friends remembered that they had found the wonderful tasty treat on my bed before, so I bought some little round ant traps. That took care of the problem in a few days. I felt bad about the massacre, but it’s their own fault for eating cat vomit.

First do you have kids or pets? Actually it doesn’t matter you just have to put it up higher. I had ants in my kitchen in the beginning of summer and now I just had them in my basement last week I use Terro works great. Get it at a hardware store. It is a liquid (they have other types this is the kind I used) that goes on these little squares that are on the box. The ants pick it up and bring it back to the colony and it kills them. It takes about 2 days but I haven’t had an ant in either room since. Put it right where the ants are traveling, keep filling up the cardboard as they eat it all.
