Mouthwas won’t work. Your breath (if you are human) comes from the lungs and not the mouth. The alcohol vapour is released from the capillaries around the alveoli in your lungs. How long it takes for this to clear up depends on how fast your body metabolises alcohol and the amount of alcohol consumed. You may increase both the metabolism and lung excretion if you increase blood circulation by exercise for example. Or wear a gas mask to filter the expired air!
