How do I get rid of a scrolling message on an old LXI TV?

I have an old (late 80’s early 90’s) LXI TV, it works great, but somehow I have turned on a scrolling message which rolls down the screen that lists the features of the TV. This TV was given to me by my dad, and when it was in his home I do remember this happening before, but I have no idea how we fixed it. HELP!
