How do I get residental or nursing care for my elderly relative?
Residential and nursing homes are now called care homes. Care homes provide personal care, meals and accommodation to people who are no longer able to look after themselves. You can obtain a list of residential homes from the Commission for Social Care Inspection by calling 01452 632750 or by e-mail. The Adult Helpdesk can send out a Directory containing details about Gloucestershire Care Homes. If you would like to request a copy send your name, address and telephone number by email.
