How do I get recommended for BLS, ACLS or PALS Instructor Candidate status?
1: All Candidates must attend and successfully complete the knowledge and skills performance assessments at a HSFC BLS for Health Care Provider (C) course. ACLS and PALS Candidates must complete the related advanced life support program, i.e. ACLS candidates must also complete an ACLS provider level Registration or Renewal course and PALS must complete a PALS provider level Registration or Renewal course. 2: a- BLS Candidates: Currently registered instructors and Instructor trainers can make the recommendation based on your performance of the BLS skills competency and knowledge at the Registration or Renewal Course you attend. b- ACLS or PALS Candidates: Currently registered instructors and Medical Directors can make the recommendation based on your performance of the ACLS or PALS skills competency and knowledge at the Registration or Renewal Course you attend. 3: The HSFNS Recommendation for Instructor Candidate Status must be completed by you and the Course Director.
