How do I get recommedations back after I recreate a job entry under experience?

I deleted a job that had two recommendations. It said that I could select the recommendations again if the job entry was created again. I recreated the job entry. I do not see how to do get back the recommendations. The recommendations received page shows no recommendations for the position. The recommendations have disappeared from my profile. If I go to the people that recommended me I see their recomnedations for me and it has a link to my profile.
