I am African descent and my hair is not as natural as normal black men. I tried every technique to get waves but I still dont get them. I wet my hair, put wave pomade on ( Sportin’ Waves) around my head and brush it down on every side. I put a wave cap/du-rag on after and go to sleep. I wake up in the morning and still no waves. My hair is just flat.
