what kind of paint are you saying eg acylic paint act very quickly rub neat with washing up liquid soak in biological detergent and warm water if its dry scrap it off rub methylated spirits do not use this liquid if the material is rayon or tricel materials if the material car seats are made from non washable fabrics apply vaseline from the paint from drying out get the covers to a dry cleaners , if it is washable fabrics treat straight away but rubbing white spirit or turpentine rinse with cold water,
