How do I get page numbers in the in-text citations of an APA formatted document?

Since APA doesn’t have page numbers in the in text citation by default, you can’t use the”Specific Page.” Instead, use the “Text After” option (also in the Edit Citation window) to add the page number. In order to get the correct formatting, type a comma and the space, then add “p. 1,” changing the page to the one you would like to cite. Click the Save to Word button to make the change in the unformatted document. After formatting, the in text citation will include the page number.
