How do i get over my fear of horses after several accidents with mine?
No offense, sounds like your first horse was an idiot. Running over people, breaking leads, etc is a sign of pushiness and disrespect, not anything you did wrong. Spend lots of time with the new one, take things slow, and you’ll probably be fine. There is absolutely no way a horse would be allowed to run over me at feeding time, and they know it long before it happens. I feed in a pasture with 15 at a time, and they know to mind their manners. They can feel your fear, and you have to overcome that and work that out on your own. No one can do it for you, but it can be done.
