How Do I Get Network Statistics, Port Traffic History, and Customized Graphing of Both?
This document tells users how to obtain port traffic history statistics using the “Get Device Status” tool and the “gengraph.pl” script. From the main AANTS page, you will see a link in the toolbar for the Get Device Status tool. If you select a device on the first page, then click a port’s utilization field from the results page, it will send you to a “Generate Statistics” page, which is the normal interface into history data. Alternately, you could in craft your own URL’s, using syntax like: https://stats.net.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/genstatspage.pl?db=s-msc-1699-1-access_gi1-0-4_bytes&time=1d https://stats.net.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/genstatspage.pl?db=s-msc-1699-1-access_gi1-0-4_bytes&time=14d https://stats.net.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/genstatspage.pl?db=s-msc-1699-1-access_gi1-0-4_bytes&time=1m You can also get fancy and specify start & end times, and/or width and height: https://stats.net.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/genstatspage.pl?db=s-msc-1699-1-access_gi1-0-4_bytes&stime=09%2F15%2F2008+09%3A45+AM&etime=09%2F16
