How do I get my water tested for other types of bacteria or other chemical contaminants (e.g. iron-reducing bacteria, pesticides, gasoline, methane, etc.)?
The Northern Lights Health Region requires all testing of water samples for routine bacteriological to be sent to the Provincial Lab. Please contact a private laboratory for additional types of water sample tests. A list of private laboratories can be found in the Yellow Pages, under the heading “Laboratories”.
