How do I get my Sims 2 PC downloads into the game?
First off, the Downloads folder you created must have a capital D. It also must be located here: \My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads You must use Winzip or Winrar or another unzipping program to EXTRACT the files to this folder. If they are still in rar or zip format they will not work, they must have the package file extension. Package files are the file types recognised by the game. If you are downloading clothes or hair you must also have the mesh for the files to show up in your game. If you are downloading objects you must have CEP installed for the files to show up in your game.
