First, you must successfully complete the Canadian Firearms Safety course. Contact your local Natural Resources office to find when and where the next course is being offered. You may also challenge the course. You will receive a Safety Course report which you then forward, along with an application form, photo and fee to the Canadian Firearms Centre. You will need a PAL to buy ammunition, purchase, inherit, receive as a gift or borrow firearms.
