To preserve the colour of your blue hydrangea a pH Value under 5.5 is required. For pot culture use Westland Ericaceous Compost, and treat with Vitax Hydrangea Colorant as recommended on the container. For plants growing in the open ground the use of Vitax Hydrangea Colorant at planting time, and regular subsequent treatments will keep the flowers an intense blue.
