I think you said a lot when you said: “I don’t want her to be like this all the time”. I’d say, don’t allow it at all. I’d also cut out any slapping, slamming or smacking. This is likely interpreted as an invitation to step up the biting behavior. Instead you might try saying “NO BITE” in a lower, firm tone and end the play altogether. You would probably benefit a lot from taking her to a beginner obedience class, maybe one on one at first since she is doing this with other people and would need to be in a setting where she can be exposed to other dogs and people where the trainer can give you and your dog all his or her attention.
