How do I get my 11 week old shih-poo to stop barking and whining in his crate.?
He is an 11 week old puppy and you are using the crate as punishment. He does not have any idea what you are doing. All he knows is he is put in his crate more than he is out. He is not going to be quiet in his crate because he needs playtime and time to socialize with the family. Yes, he is going to have accidents in the house. He is biting and chewing because he is a PUPPY. That is what they do! None of this is the puppy’s fault. If you continue to lock him up in his crate because he has ‘not done his business outside’ you are making a big mistake. From what you are saying you have enough stress and should have never gotten a puppy. I suggest re-homing him.
