How do I get JPEmail to send using AOL, MSN or any other ISP that doesn provide an SMTP server?

JPEmail needs a SMTP server to send email. AOL, for example, uses a proprietory email format (not SMTP) to send email. We have found two different options to be able to use such ISPs with JPEmail.
