You’re going to need your high school… so that is the 1st step. You then need to do a 2 year program (or longer) at a mortuary college, specializing in embalming. There is no college that will offer this other wise, so take a look into applying to one. Each mortuary college asks for different (but at the same time the same) requirements, so you might want to work on getting them BEFORE jumping into anything. Like I said… best bet is to check around the neighborhood or area, and see what the requirements are. Once you meet them, apply, and you’re on your way! Good luck with it all. Working on becoming an embalmer is one rewarding task!!!!
