How do I get into a good foreign exchange program?

We had an exchange student from AYUSA, and she befriended some other exchange student who went through “Youth for Understanding”. Of the two, I would recommend “Youth for Understanding” over AYUSA. AYUSA just seemed way less organized. Rotary Club International sponsors foreign exchanges and have a long standing reputation. I also have down a link for AYA Exchange, though I have no experience with them. Often you can get some kind of better deal if your parents are willing to take an exchange student. Go to these web sites, ask them to send you more information in the mail, and discuss with your parents (maybe you should discuss it first).
