How do I get i-Sell to read a bar code ?
There are two ways to insert inventory into an invoice with I-Sell. The first is by choosing from the list presented on the bottom center of the screen and the second is for using a wedge type bar code. If you want to use a bar code then just activate the choice shown on the bottom right near the totals and your inventory list will be removed during all future sales and a pop up window will appear which asks for the part number. Just scan it in, follow the prompts and continue inserting items using your bar-code reader. If you want to toggle back to the inventory list (manual pick) then you may at any time by escaping the bar code window and inactivating the barcode prompt. Another point when using a bar-code reader is to click on the clients name just after you escape or cancel the barcode input window and before you click or choose finish.
