How do I get Frontpage extensions installed on my website?
Just ask. Frontpage has a publishing tool and special features which require Frontpage server extensions to be installed on your account. However, Frontpage will also allow you to FTP to your account without Frontpage extensions. If you have Frontpage extensions installed, you are not able to use FTP software to connect to your site, as this may corrupt the extensions, and your ability to use scripting languages, such as PHP and perl is impaired. So, it is recommended that you don’t have Frontpage server extensions installed on your account, unless you really require some of the added features. To have Frontpage server extensions installed on your account, please select the relevant option when ordering or contact us.
Simply call or email us to install Frontpage extensions to your account. By default, they are not installed since most websites do not require these extensions, but they can be installed at no additional charge. All FrontPage extensions are running on FrontPage version 4.0.2.2717 or FrontPage 2000.
