How do I get from Reus Airport to Sitges?
You’re right – it is indeed very awkward, especially at that time of night, as Reus Airport is not very well connected by public transport. At that time of night, the train service will have stopped operating towards Barcelona (which is the route Sitges is on); as will the buses to Tarragona and Barcelona from the airport (run by Hispano Igualadina – at www.igualadina.com) as the last one leaves at 21.45 – though this will have missed the last train from Tarragona to Barcelona too. Had your flight arrived earlier, taking the bus to Tarragona and getting the train from there is by far the best bet. A taxi to Sitges will cost around €80-100 and take about 45-60 minutes – Reus is about 40 miles from Sitges. But – if you throw in the cost of a hotel room and the hassle factor of public transport, it might still be cheaper, and at least you could start your holiday the next day.
