How do I get footage into AVID from CineForm RAW™?

AVID poses a slightly difficult solution in that they don’t support any third-party codecs, nor do their systems have any support for RAW formats. The easiest workflow is to take CineForm RAW™ files through Adobe After Effects and convert them to either DPX for an AVID DS|Nitris, or to DNxHD for any other AVID system. That way you can keep the 10-bit deep-pixel format of the CineForm RAW™ files intact (AE supports deep-pixel support where-as Premiere Pro’s exporter does not), although you will lose support for 4:4:4 with the DNxHD option.
