How do I get DVD video output to High Definition TV ?

If you are using an HDTV with a DVD player and the DVD player’s lines of resolution are less than that of the HDTV connected directly to the TV, the lines of resolution from the DVD player output is what your HDTV will playback. Some DVD player have an internal line doubler or you can use an external line doubler between the monitor output on the AV receiver to the HDTV, the TV will only playback whatever the DVD player’s highest resolution output is capable of outputting.
