How do I get dried-on pine tree sap out of my T-shirt?
There’s a product sold at Home Depot called Zep Heavy Duty Floor Stripper. Just a few drops dissolves pine tar from clothing without any damage to the fabric. I’ve used it myself for the exact same thing. Had a hugh pine fall over during a storm. Had to cut it up and haul it myself. My own clothes, and everyone’s who helped, were covered with sap. I treated and washed everyone’s clothes. Not only got the sap out, it also got out a lot of old stains they had. It also makes a great cleaner when diluted with water. VERY BEST thing I’ve ever used for cleaning floors, counter tops, walls, and other tough stains on laundry item. It even gets dried paint out!
