How do I get downloaded Sims 2 objects/skins for Sims 2 Deluxe?
Um, if you are trying to download objects from the sims 2 website like the Mustang GT car then you don’t have to have the download file in the Sims 2 folder. When you download the object save it to a folder anywhere. Then go to that folder and an icon for the object you downloaded will be there. Click the icon to install the object, it will only take like five seconds to install. Once installed it will work in the game. When the game starts a new window will come up and say you have custom content, enable the custom content. You have to close the game and reopen it for the custom content to be in the game after you enable it.
