She doesn’t wear deodorant. She’s likely wearing a lot of polyester. Wipe the armpit area with methylated spirits before you put it in the washing machine and it will come out. My old silk top has rust stains on it. Sprinkle a little mountain of non-iodised salt over each spot. Over each mountain, put some drops of fresh lemon juice over the salt so that it is moistened. Leave it in the sunshine. It will leave the rust stains out. But don’t ever put your silk top out on a windy day as the fibres mat in the wind. I have an antique pewter plate stained from sardine oil – how do I get it off and is it safe to eat off of? Old pewter contains lead so best not to eat off it. To remove the fish oil, put a bit of white vinegar on a pair of pantyhose. Once you’ve done that, put a glass plate on top of it so you can use it for serving and it won’t come in contact with food.
