All maps used in WildMap must be in a jpeg format. The easiest place to try first is OpenStreetMap www.openstreetmap.org/. Just search for the postcode or place name and zoom in, as the detail changes as you zoom. The maps on this site are being added to constantly, so even if the area you look for is not available in great detail, the detail might be improved a few months on. Use the ‘Export’ option and save the map as a jpeg. If you use maps from OpenStreetMap, please copy and paste this to the map description when you create the map ‘Maps produced by OpenStreetMap under the creative commons licence http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/’ Otherwise, all LEA schools have access to a variety of free maps from the LEA’s Ordnance Survey Liaison Officer (OSLO).
