How do I get base maps for my WildMaps?
All maps used in WildMap must be in a jpeg format. The easiest place to try first is OpenStreetMap www.openstreetmap.org/. Just search for the postcode or place name and zoom in, as the detail changes as you zoom. The maps on this site are being added to constantly, so even if the area you look for is not available in great detail, the detail might be improved a few months on. Use the ‘Export’ option and save the map as a jpeg.
