How do I get back (i.e. unerase) an accidentally deleted file?
It is the responsibility of the account holder to make supplemental copies of important files for long term safe keeping. CQUEST does archive each server’s hard disk(s) contents to tape regularly. If the deleted file was present the night prior to it’s deletion, then it might be possible to restore the file. Please send an e-mail message to CQUEST at (userhelp@cquest) indicating the exact filename that you need restored and the date it was last changed or created.
