How do i get auditions for movies or tv shows in australia?
I’ve never had an agent – I refuse to pay a percentage of my earnings to an administrative rogue – I mean, at least Ned Kelly wore a mask! But… I’ve never been out of work for more than a couple of weeks… good work and good attitude ensures you are remembered… Your best bet (if you are a beginner) is to contact a co-operative agency or just keep your eye open and ear to the ground (etc, clichés, sorry) for news of auditions… There are trade publications that give news of auditions, etc, but you must be a subscriber and the fee is usually beyond the pocket of a struggling newcomer… I wish you well…………..
