How do I “get around” the rule of not being able to use officially licensed words and pictures?
1) In the case of a marathon in Hawaii, we’ll put “I Ran Hawaii” with a “26.2” and a runner and wala’…your own marathon mug! 2) In the case of the name of a ballet recital, e-mail us a note of permission from the owner of the dance studio. 3) We will be licensed by certain organizations, such as the Boston Athletic Association. The SportsPottery®, such as in the case of the Boston Marathon, will be pre-designed and available for name/time customization right off our webpage.
