How do I get around Ambergris Caye?
Cars are novelty items on the islands in Belize. The best way to get around is to rent a bike or get by on foot. You can also rent an expensive golf cart or moped. For bike rentals, check out Joe’s Bike Rental at the south end of Pescador Drive (one of the main streets in San Pedro, the center of town), which charges $12BZ for a half-day rental, $18BZ for 24 hours, and $78BZ for a week rental.
