How do I get approval to work as an Industrial Radiography Assistant?

0

Applicants for approval as an Industrial Radiography Assistant must pass examinations in radiation safety conducted by the Radiological Council (only) BEFORE they commence practical work as an assistant. A letter and certificate are provided as evidence of their approval. The examinations are based on training notes provided by the Radiological Council. Please note the core exam is closed book and the Industrial Radiography Assistant exam is open book. The cost for sitting these examinations is $30.80 (or $28.00 ex GST). Please contact a Council Officer in order to book a time for the examinations.
