How do I get an item for the magazines Class Notes section published?
Write Class Notes Editor, Duke Magazine, Box 90572, Durham, N.C. 27708-0572; or fax (typed only, please) to (919) 684-6022; or e-mail to dukemag@duke.edu. The magazine is eager to publish news of individual alumni activities—professional accomplishments, such as job changes and promotions, or personal milestones, such as advanced degrees earned, marriages, and births. Because of the volume of material we receive and the long lead time required for typesetting, design, and printing, we ask that you be patient. Your submission may not appear for two to three issues. Online Class Notes can be accessed via the “Class Notes” link at the magazine’s home page http://www.dukemagazine.duke.edu/. The Online Class Notes section provides space for alumni to post news in their own words and upload photos to share with classmates. Online Class Notes will not appear in the print edition.
